Meant seems to add some more post-rock and shoegaze influence to their genre-blender of sounds, creating a much more "out-there" experience, and the tracks definitely feel more energetic than past releases ("cheat code unlocked" and "Cheeto gulag" are great examples of this). Like a wave of uncertainty and optimism washing over you, Meant creates an engrossing experience that they've been known to make. There's a descriptor for you, "uncertain optimism".
